Job Overview:

The Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for managing FluentDoc’s online presence, driving user engagement, and building a vibrant community of language creators and storytellers. This role will focus on planning and executing social media strategies, creating compelling content, and interacting with users across various platforms to support FluentDoc’s growth and brand awareness. The ideal candidate is creative, strategic, and comfortable using social media analytics tools to measure success.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy to increase FluentDoc’s presence across platforms such as Facebook, Reddit, Discord, and Instagram.
  • Create, schedule, and post engaging content (e.g., language creation tips, user stories, platform updates) to drive community interaction and brand awareness.
  • Monitor social media channels daily to engage with users, respond to comments, and encourage participation in challenges and discussions.
  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce visually appealing and informative posts that align with FluentDoc’s brand.

Community Engagement:

  • Build and nurture an active online community by hosting monthly language creation challenges and interactive posts to keep users engaged.
  • Foster conversations within the FluentDoc community, encouraging user-generated content and peer collaboration.
  • Identify and partner with influential community members or creators to boost FluentDoc’s visibility and credibility.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, follower growth) using tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Google Analytics.
  • Provide monthly reports with insights on community growth and engagement trends, offering actionable recommendations to improve social media strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing social media channels for a brand or community, preferably in the creative or tech space.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, Discord) and trends.
  • Excellent written communication and content creation skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with online communities, especially in creative industries like gaming, worldbuilding, or linguistics.
  • Basic design or video editing skills for creating engaging social media content.
  • A passion for language creation, storytelling, or community building.
